Challenge
First Grade - Play "Lucy Locket" with your family. (Lucy Locket lost her pocket, Kitty Fischer found it. Not a penny was there in it, only ribbon round it.)
​
Second Grade - Play "Bubblegum Machine" with your family. Draw the machine and have someone write a word in each bubblegum. Color them in once you find a word to rhyme. Be sure to sing the song before each one is chosen. (The bubblegum machine, the bubblegum machine, let's take some time to find a rhyme in the bubblegum machine.)

Third Grade - Download the app "Acappella" (it's free). Play around with making your own band using household instruments. (ex: comb; pots and spatula, empty cans, straws, etc.)

Fourth Grade - Download the app "Acappella" (it's free). Play around with making your own band using household instruments. (ex: comb; pots and spatula, empty cans, straws, etc.)

Fifth Grade - Fourth Grade - Download the app "Acappella" (it's free). Play around with making your own band using household instruments. (ex: comb; pots and spatula, empty cans, straws, etc.)

Sixth Grade - Go to the "classes" tab and try the sight-reading links found in "Choir".

- "Concentration" game on rhythms. Flip the correct cards to match the definition to the rhythm.

- "Matching" game on rhythms. Match the rhythm to its definition.

- "Word Search" on rhythms. Click and hold when selecting the word.

- "Matching" game on higher level rhythms. Match the rhythm to its definition.

- "Note Identification Level 1" quiz. Select the correct answer. Hint - the saying goes from bottom to top.

ALL GRADES:
For the final week, see if you can do this week's challenge as a whole family. Pick a Disney film and sing along. But, anytime there is a song, you CAN'T sit and sing. You have to move around while you sing. Side note- some of my favorite memories with my sister is when we did this to "Beauty and the Beast".
